Not entirely sure, but I think the level of affection also triggers certain events. You need to have at least 2.3-2.5 of their affection by January to be on their route.
The stats affect your endings more than the affection does, if you max both the primary and secondary stats, you can probably get both the kiss CG (13) and the bonus CG (14) even if you only have 3.25/4 of the character's affection.I might compile a complete walkthrough to make it easier to navigate through the game (with proper credit to this thread of course) if I find the time, patience and motivation to do so, but for now, here are a few tips.
